About Dr. Stein

Dr. David Stein is a developmental neuropsychologist with extensive experience in the assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. He has held clinical and academic roles at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Stein is the Founder and Director of New England Neurodevelopment and President-Elect of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society (MNS).

Dr. Stein earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his doctorate from William James College. He completed his clinical training through Harvard Medical School at Cambridge Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, followed by a two-year post-doctoral apprenticeship in clinical neuropsychology and advanced coursework in human neuroanatomy at Marquette University.

Dr. Stein works closely with medical and mental health professionals, independent and public schools, and educational institutions to provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations that are well-integrated into academic and treatment settings.

About Bethany Colavincenzo, Ed.M.

Bethany Colavincenzo, Ed.M. is an educational specialist with expertise in assessment of learning and neurodevelopmental disorders.  She is a former classroom teacher who, after receiving her master’s degree in education, served as an Educational Specialist in the Developmental Medicine Center at Children's Hospital Boston for three years.  Bethany has worked with children and adolescents as a tutor and organizational aide, and she spent two years working on educational reform and policy for a child advocacy non-profit in Washington D.C.  She also maintained a private practice for educational consulting and assessment prior to joining New England Neurodevelopment.  

 

Bethany has significant experience in assessment of children with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and medical and genetic disorders.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University and a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she was the recipient of the merit-based Leadership in Education Award.

About Haley Wynn, MA

​

Haley Wynn, MA is a fourth year clinical psychology doctoral student at William James College. She earned her master’s degree in psychology in the spring of 2024, and will earn her doctoral degree in 2027 with a specialty in neuropsychology. Throughout her graduate training, she has completed several practica in neuropsychology through Harvard Medical School, including placements at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital. Along with her work at NEN, Haley performs neuropsychological evaluations and cognitive rehabilitation training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Center for Brain/Mind Medicine as an advanced doctoral trainee. She has extensive research and clinical experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, nonverbal learning disabilities, and psychotic disorders. She also has experience with complex medical conditions that can impact development, including epilepsy and autoimmune conditions. As a neuropsychologist, she hopes to serve as a support for individuals and families across the lifespan, particularly for individuals in the transition from childhood to young adulthood. Prior to graduate school, Haley earned her B.S. in Communication Disorders and Psychology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also worked for several years with children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD and ASD in therapeutic and research settings.

About Jacqueline Osborn, M.Ed. 

Jacqueline Osborn, M.Ed., is a testing assistant at NEN and a fourth year School Psychology Doctoral student at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During graduate school, Jacqueline has completed two school based practicum placements in Boston Public Schools. Next year, she will be working at The Home for Little Wanderers providing community-based counseling and assessment services. Jacqueline plays an active role in multiple research labs which focus on equity and community-based resources for behavioral health services. She hopes to support clients and families through individualized neuropsychological evaluations at NEN.
